Stilla
A practitioner mid-movement on a reformer in soft natural light

Pilates · Yoga · Barre · Roncesvalles

A practice in
stillness.

Classical pilates and alignment-led yoga in a quiet two-room studio. Slow, considered movement in a room built for breath.

First week, $59. Unlimited classes for seven days. One per studio guest.

Approach

We treat movement as a practice, not a workout. The room is meant to feel observed, not charged.

Methodology first

Every class at Stilla is anchored to a tradition. Classical pilates on the reformer, alignment-led yoga in the Iyengar lineage, and barre that comes from the floor up.

One tempo slower

Our classes run a measure below most studios. The pace is deliberate. Transitions are taught, not rushed. Postures are held long enough to be felt.

A small room

Reformer classes cap at six. Mat and yoga at twelve. We chose the room before we set the pricing, because the room is the practice.

Classes

Six ways
to practice.

A movement-studio menu rather than a fitness one. Reformer pilates and alignment yoga are the anchors. Barre, mat, slow flow, and one-to-one work fill in around them.

The Studio

Two rooms.
One pace.

A reformer room with six privately-spaced machines. A mat and yoga room with a barre, props, and morning light from the east. Showers, change rooms, and a small retail shelf with the props we teach with. Visitors often say the room feels like an apartment, not a studio.

Tour the room

Instructors

Senior teachers,
consistent rooms.

Most of our practitioners practice with the same one or two teachers most weeks. Our schedule is built around that, not around hiring volume.

The Practice

Six machines. Six practitioners. Room to breathe.

Our reformer room holds six spaced machines and runs at a maximum of six practitioners per class. The ratio is intentional: space enough to move without awareness of the person beside you, quiet enough to hear corrections as they land.

The Teachers

Senior teachers who practice what they teach.

Each instructor at Stilla holds a deep single-tradition credential and has practiced for a minimum of eight years before joining the team. Most students settle into one or two teachers and stay with them through the long run.

Your Week

A schedule built for the practitioner who returns.

Seven days, first class at 6:45 on most weekdays, last by 8:00 pm. Reformer, yoga, barre, mat, and slow flow across the week. Designed for the practitioner who comes back consistently, not the one who drops in once.

New to Stilla

First week, fifty-nine dollars.

Seven days of unlimited classes. Take a reformer class on Monday, an alignment yoga on Wednesday, a barre on Friday. By the end of the week you will know which room you want to keep coming back to.
